@sarajcox If I had a cold, my Mum would make me put my head over a bowl of boiling water with Vicks vapor rub in it, put a huge towel or blanket over me and make me breathe it in. I ended up streaming loads of snot from my nose and sweating. Hated it - makes me shiver with fear even now.

When you were little, did your parents/care givers do something special/unusual for you when you were poorly sick? A certain treat, an allowed indulgence, a snack, a certain routine or old fashioned remedy. Did you love/hate/just put up with it? Deeeeeeets please!
