@restartsyndrome @Plasmo_STG 40 bil is big! On EXA it takes more cherry to start borders (for the main game only - this isn’t true for Extra and Phantasm). This mean your border bonuses on EXA will be smaller overall, so PC and EXA scores aren’t directly comparable (even though the routing is very similar).

@Plasmo_STG Huge. I think the PC version's record is around 42b, so this is pretty close to that, even with fewer resources for the clear bonus?

Also I keep returning to Fantastic Danamku Festival 3 on the side. I still have complaints about the game, but it's nice to play an easy game sometimes, haha. I got 15.2 billion in EX-U. I'd like to get a full spell run with these scoring patterns. youtube.com/watch?v=9c_9xV…

I'm currently working on stage 6. The first zesshikai at the start of the stage is giving me trouble. Sometimes the slowdown feels very inconsistent, which throws me off. I need to figure out what's causing the differences in slowdown 🤔

I also figured out patterns for Shin Seseri. You don't need to fight her for 800 million, but I want to be prepared in case I make it to her.

I haven't talked about Espgaluda II in a while - I'm still playing, but the game is really hard lol. I have patterns figured out for stage 5 though. I skip one zesshikai at the beginning for safety - I might go back and relearn that later.

@LYX_TEST Sadly I agree. I think the game is still fun, but the scoring doesn’t feel fully thought out.

Just unlocked all achievements. As a scoring player, I think it has too many shortcomings (although it also has many advantages), and I cannot agree that it is a finished product, which makes me feel regretful and disappointed.😢

Overall I think this was a welcome update, and I can see going for a UNNN run being fun! But it feels like scoring has taken a backseat compared to FDF 2, which is disappointing for me since I tend to prefer playing games for score.

Additionally it doesn't feel like there's a lot to do in stage 6. A lot of your score comes from rampage cancels, but there aren't any patterns with lots of bullets to milk points off of. Graze also doesn't really matter in stage 6 since the Frenzy bonus is so small.

I got some time to try the new Ultra update for Fantastic Danmaku Festival III today! I got stuck in stage 1 jail for a bit but got the clear on my first run that got out. 28.1 billion. #touhou #fdf
