@FrederickMelo I sent them suggestions for restaurants and also food shelf partners, hoping that a dual approach will truly help waste / disparities in access.

NYC friend pointed me to an app he uses for deeply discounted pastries but could in theory net you super cheap sushi and pizza and all the things. It’s called #TooGoodToGo where restaurants sell their day-old grab bags at 66% off. I have yet to try it. How’s it working for ya?

@caitlinmcgowan Thank you for calling this out. I do comms/ PR for ESC-It’s a beautiful space with fantastic food and great people behind it. The team there was ready for very busy, but the crowds surpassed everyone’s imagination. Everyone was working as hard as they could, refunds were issued.

@TomBasgen @danademaster Hey Mr STP, w/ all all due respect- Little T’s is Whittier! Way different & more diverse neighborhood than Lake/ Hennepin. That’s like calling Midway Crocus Hill. 😜 Also lots of people call Lyndale & Franklin area Uptown, but it’s actually the Wedge.

Uptown is only ever fun when it’s dying. Everyone’s best memories of Uptown are barfing outside of Little Tijuana and then getting mugged for the last $14 dollars in your wallet by an MCAD drop out who discovered methamphetamines.
