A brand new Jetour for under R500k offering specs only found in a million rand plus Germany car and doing so with 1 million kilometres or 10yrs warranty on the engine….. Europeans have shat the bed, it’s game over
Ayarh 🍒@AyandaYandiey

WeBuyCars has confirmed that due to the huge amount of people buying Chinese cars it has been forced to lower prices of European brands in order to sell them as most South Africans would rather buy a new Chinese car than buy a used European car.

Am running for Parliament to resolve issues and inspire Zambian kids from poor families like us. For many years, we have been used to fight political battles of others, then only children of the rich get appointed into opportunities, kids of the nobody's become praise singers.

The "illegal immigrants" is just a cover statement. The Afrophobes do not want any kwerekwere whether legal or illegal. We have seen videos of foreigners including children being harassed, humiliated and chased away from schools and clinics, despite having legal documents .
Jackie Phamotse@JackiePhamotse

Where are ALL the LEGAL immigrants? Why are they not vocal about their fellow citizens who came here illegally? Why is it so easy to accept the lies their constituents have told about us? Why are they not educating their people about the truth! Do they not know the laws?

@KabeloMusic Generalising is a big problem, its not prudent to say theres no tribalism or xenophobia. It is personal and best known by the bearer,Hate is something in someone's heart and yes we have tribalism and we have non tribalist persons, lets not blanket everyone

There might be sentiments of tribalism but South Africa is the most progressive interrelation demographic in the African continent. Don’t be fooled by mainstream media, culturally people get along, they marry each other and they are great at friendships, there are challenges but South Africa is the most amazing country.

@Tammy_thee_Godd We have addressed this before but for the sake of slow learner, I will repeat the answer again, South Africans in general are not xenophobic, but there are a lot of xenophobic South Africans and they don't care whether documented or not they just hate AFRICAN migrants

@Facts_Only_SA @penuelist_ Legal does not mean right. Apartheid used to legal too, it used to be legal to buy, shoot or kill a black person doesn't mean it was right then. History will judge against you one day

I drive around Gauteng all the time, including today. I speak to SAns & foreigners around South Africa every day. My African brothers & sisters are running their businesses, enjoying time with their families, going shopping, chilling outdoors, & continuing with life. Don't let media propaganda lie to you... especially Twitter. The whole continent & world is being fed lies about South Africa... just like Elon Musk & Donald Trump have lied about White Genocide. There have been 4 protests that I'm aware of... in Durban, kuGompo, Johannesburg & Pretoria, to highlight the frustration SAns have with UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS, some who commit crimes here & a govt that refuses to deal with this issue. But there has been no looting. They aren't going around beating up foreigners. They aren't killing anyone. If there are any attacks, it has been very very few isolated incidents. Yet people, African leaders & Africans in Diaspora are spreading lies. If you are a foreigner in South Africa, you have an obligation to tell the truth about what's going on. Otherwise you'll lie about South Africa & South Africans, and I swear that any backlash will negatively affect you as well. Let's stop the false propaganda & lies. Tell the truth. Encourage others to tell the truth. And let's fix what we can, and expose our corrupt govts where we can. Thank you. Pen.

@penuelist_ You are not being prudent enough if you deny the fact there's been xenophobic attacks ,discrimination & intimidations. It is well documented and there's proof. I agree with you on 1 thing, there are xenophobic people in south Africa but its unfair to say all SANs are xenophobic

I was in an inDrive cab in Zimbabwe and noticed the driver kept checking me in the rearview mirror. Not once or twice… like every 10 seconds. I finally asked, “Is everything okay?” He said, “Yeah, why?” Right then my phone said out loud: “Share your live location with your emergency contacts.” We went silent after that.

As a Zimbabwean, l am shocked to learn that we are angry and desperately want SA to allow StarLink 😂😂😂😂😂. Yasenza iZanu bakithi. Anyone can wake up and lie about us. Kunzima
Sizwe SikaMusi@SizweLo

Elon Musk has posted 50 times about South Africa in just 7 days, and Zimbabweans are just as angry as he is. This is because they both desperately need South Africa to allow Starlink in. We all know that the Starlink constellation is the largest array of satellites in the world. However, even with all of those satellites, Starlink still needs to connect to internet data centres on the ground. The satellites have to beam the data down to a ground station, which then sends the data across the internet using undersea cables. This is where South Africa comes in as one of the most connected countries on the continent with seven of the major undersea cables landing in Cape Town and Durban. These are the cables connecting Africa’s internet directly to Europe, Asia and the Americas. Because of this, Elon Musk wants to build a Starlink ground station in South Africa because it would ensure he gets fast, stable, high capacity routes straight into the global internet. Beyond the cables, South Africa also has world-class data centres alongside Tier 3+ infrastructure, which means high uptime, power redundancy, cooling and security. NAPAfrica, one of the largest internet exchange points on the continent is also in South Africa, with facilities in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. So, it should be clear that Starlink in SA is not about selling satellite dishes to households. It’s about plugging into the continent’s internet backbone and using South Africa to build a solid launch pad for a robust infrastructure build. Elon Musk can turn on Starlink in every single country on the continent, but without South Africa, he reaches a dead end and can never get his service to work properly on the continent. This also explains why some Zimbabweans are livid about South Africa not letting Starlink in. The service will just not work well over there without South Africa’s participation. OK, but if this is so important to Starlink why is Elon Musk stubbornly refusing to adhere to straightforward BEE requirements? Well, as pointed above, South Africa’s value to Starlink is mostly as infrastructure backbone, not as a massive retail customer base. We all know he won’t get any meaningful number of customers in SA. There’s simply no market for it. Musk just wants to use South Africa to route through neighbouring countries, and to him, this is not worth giving up a 30% stake in South Africa’s operations. For Musk, the BEE thing is just a strategic business decision. All that racism talk is just a smokescreen for a hard-nosed business choice.
