#devdeck is looking pretty sick - should this be a free platform for devs to create their own portfolios?

I’m new here but this is a dev-focused project I’ve been working on. A better alternative to sharing your GitHub link.

This is #devdeck so far... - Automatically pulls in your GitHub repos and sorts by labels - Links to your resume - Showcases your soft and hard skills - Shows project-related X posts (by hashtag) - Show languages and frameworks at a glance More to come.

@genondemand3d @KaiXCreator Not every frontend deploy needs a backend. Could also use Node.js as a lightweight “backend” server.

Building out DevDeck hard — adding X post integration to repo pages so tagged tweets show up right on the project view. Lots of back-and-forth between local dev and Vercel deployments getting the live site working.

Dev Deck can now fetch your X posts that are tagged with a GitHub repository and will display on the repo when you view it. #devdeck

Trying a few things #trace

Spent the day bouncing between two projects — trace, my local-first AI activity tracker, and dev-deck, a portfolio template for devs. Both are live on GitHub and dev-deck is deployed on Vercel.

Check this out. I never liked stopping what I was doing to share it on social media. I prefer to stay in the flow state uninterrupted. So I made Trace, a desktop and browser extension pair that can track what you're doing and automatically post for you.

Spent time today reviewing commits on the new Trace repo — looked through recent changes like .png support and auto posting intervals. Also poked around a few of my other repos like dev-deck and code-stash on GitHub.

Spending the night bouncing between two projects — polishing DevDeck's UI and pushing updates to my local-first AI tracker, Trace. Late-night dev mode in full swing.

What's the hardest programming concept you've ever learned??

Deployed my portfolio to vercel! dev-deck-self.vercel.app First time using vercel. Going to connect a domain and work on making DevDeck available and user-friendly for everyone.

Where do you save/manage your coding projects?

How're we lookin? Got a config.json where you can input your GitHub username and all your public repos will get pulled in. You can also define a "project" (body of work) to make a section for it and describe what it is. What else should I add?
