Now, the Susan Hurley Fund will help continue the work she believed in so deeply. And soon, a memorial bench will inspire every runner who passes — just like Susan did.

In the 250th year of American independence, we couldn’t be prouder that the @USNavy got its start here in Massachusetts. Ever since, our state has been a leader in innovation, service and defense. The USS Massachusetts represents that legacy and more. Wishing this vessel — and all who serve on her — safety and success as they undertake this historic commission.

Black history is American history and Massachusetts history. And knowing our history matters — because it helps us shape a better future. Great to join our Advisory Council on Black Empowerment, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, innovators and community leaders at the State House last week.

From the Marine Corps to the FBI, Robert Mueller answered the call to serve our country time and again. He led with integrity, courage, and a deep respect for the rule of law. I’m keeping his family in my thoughts.

Talk to any hunter and they’ll tell you — it’s not just about the harvest. It’s about tradition, time outside, and looking out for the land and wildlife. They’ll also tell you that Massachusetts’ hunting laws are due for an update. Hunters: I hear you loud and clear.

Hunters love what Massachusetts has to offer, they just want laws that make sense — and I agree. Let's start by lifting the ban on Sunday hunting.
