I'm doing the same Harry, leaving the UK to move to Oman. If we're in western lands it should be either for necessity or to be instrumental in dawah - barring those two reasons if someone can do hijrah they should. Sadly some brothers have made it a habit to get perpetually offended or to muddy the waters between deen/politics/sociology.
