@Jaiveyy @SirPickle_ @FortuneMMXM For me in such scenarios, i would say the market is lacking true displacement and probably in a ranging market where you see candle bodies overlapping each other.. that’s consolidation. But immediately you bring in FVG, the story changes

Imagine for second if you opened your charts and on every single timeframe there’s is, you can’t find one single FVG, not even the smallest one.. but you see down and up candles wicks high and low, but no FVG

Its insane how effective FVGs really are.
Its fascinating to see idiots on here saying they suck/ dont work.

In my opinion , being able to deal with impulsiveness will eliminate the worst traits that comes with trading. Start with building a mechanical system that gives you your edge over these markets, and have the discipline to follow that.

as a trader, you need to become more comfortable saying 'I don't know' not only is that normal, but it shows you have a defined system one that you follow and ignore everything else because most of trading is waiting for that moment where clarity is offered the only problem comes when you don't know, but proceed to act as if you do that is where you force trades that is where you make mistakes that is where you take unnecessary losses the solution is simple be able to admit when you don't know, and wait solely for the moment you do that is what alignment of your system looks like

There’s something called overexposure in trading. As a beginner, you shouldn’t be trading more than 3 pairs at most.
Yes, you’ll miss setups, but your goal early on isn’t quantity, it’s quality.
Refine your focus. Cut out the noise.

@crypto_onowu But one more thing to note. There isn’t only one way to trading these markets. I may choose to find alignment of time frames top down and other traders only look at one timeframe alone. It all differs in perspective for each trader when you look at the market.

@crypto_onowu I agree to disagree. It’s okay to have a predetermined bias coming into the day depending on your analysis of your HTF from top down. where people get it wrong is when they force their bias into the market without having a proper confirmation on the lower timeframes that aligns
