Often overlooked aspect of the bow arm is the approach to the string. It is done with the hand and moves parallel to the string. It is the same whether going down bow or up bow. It has a huge impact on sound & doing tricky bow strokes. #BestStringTips

How do u make your playing natural when it is filled w flaws u don’t know how to fix? Doing that was Dounis’ brilliance. He devised ingenious exercises to draw out the native instincts and use them in the basics like vibrato, bow changes, crossing strings, sautille, shifting.
