A lot of people forget that SY is an unreliable narrator. What he says about SJ shouldn’t be taken at face value. The only reason SJ was closer to NYY was his trauma related to men that led him to feel safer with women and NOT whatever SY imagined

@AtlanteaYanying @SulimoJou also disclaimer, i actually get triggered by incest in stories regardless of if they're just a topic of discussion or a fetish. I still defend ao3 despite this because ao3 has filters that PROTECT me from seeing that stuff, it doesn't shove that stuff in my face.
