Honestly, my main gripes with Dawntrail are all content-related. Patches were spread out more thinly than ever, ever as predictable, fight designs stale, Forked Tower and the chaotic Alliance raid were ... special. At least Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration were fun

@Rijonkulous @notshade I play this game since 5.3 and it never even crossed my mind that these normal modes even have guides made out for them. But yeah the MSQ doesn’t put enough challenge on just one person so a lot of people don’t improve that much throughout it.

If you don't mind dying several times and your party still being able to kill the boss basically without you, then no.
This is really why people say it's easy, because everything done during story can be done without you.

My opinion on ffxiv is that it actually is a difficult game and I had to watch video guides before every boss starting post-stormblood… idk how people say it’s easy

@saiseihime @notshade Maybe it’s because 14 isn’t my first mmo but at least during dungeons I found most mechanics quite easy, especially since I do them with duty support the first time for story reasons. For raids i’ve done all of them on patch them blind since endwalker so im used to everyone dying

@rootedinbangtan Same, it’s my least favorite song out of the album. The only exciting thing about it is that Normal comes after it when streaming top to bottom and that is a top3 song from the album.

@mateiux @notshade Nah you don't need to do that at all for normal content. Like yes, you'll die every now and then but dying really doesn't matter much in normal content. I know some people will watch guides for it because they're scared of dragging other people down but it really isn't that deep.

@ItsGutsNotGatsu @Liangyyu They are one shotting them. But i think this is also part of the cons of Horizontal progression. Whenever a tier is no longer current content it becomes obsolete and it can no longer be experienced as it was when it was current, even if you sync down.
