I think this take is really good: AI is Excel, not unemployment. When Excel arrived, accountants didn’t vanish - they stopped doing manual arithmetic and started doing higher-value analysis. The profession evolved upward.

Some devs like and some dislike the test-driven development, but the fact is that TTD is really needed for AI agent-driven development.
