I wanted it said out loud. Lestat was abused and SA'd by his mother. His idea of being loved is wrapped up in that abuse. He's only known transactional love and tenderness. Louis wants Lestat to share but Lestat is terrified once Louis knows the truth, he'll abandon him too. 😭
