What followed were months of disrespect to the court, undermining of the case, withdrawing from the case and then saying he wants to return to the case with a list of conditions. It was on the 14th of July 2022 at an EFF press conference that the CIC Julius Malema called him out for making a mockery of the case of the slain Senzo Meyiwa and centering himself in the matter. Teffo then opened a case of defamation against the EFF President on the 2nd of September 2022 - the statement below was our response. Time does not erase history and memory. Teffo must not use Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi’s critical intervention on lawlessness in SA, to settle a personal score. Thanks.
