For Arsenal to lose two cup games at home, in such quick succession, is devastating. The heart has gone out of this team. The absence of Saka is not any kind of sufficient explanation or justification. I am a great believer that managers need to be given time and consistent support. But I cannot see any kind of strategy from Arteta and his colleagues that would transform us into trophy winners from our current status as honourable runners up

@danorlovsky7 This is the dull part of season where people who were pro him during draft season go wildly overboard and vice versa. He was and is great, he also threw two awful interceptions.

what does VAR do? One day they're rubber stamping a shit call like this. The next day they're turning a challenge on the halfway line into a red from a yellow. VAR is a bunch of accountants applying the "letter of the law" except where violence is concerned

The problem here was that Estupiñan didn’t trip his man 40 yards from goal. Instead he just almost broke his leg. The PGMOL has prioritised technicalities over player safety, and it gets worse.
