The most interesting thing about the first part of today's stage is if Vacek, Simmons and Gee will make a train for Mads Pedersen to help him get first at the intermediate sprint which comes at km 90. Noyer will normally be too fast and long for Mads but you never know. #TDF2026

@wielervrspllng I hope they try. UAE is so weak now. Lidl is strong and has a lot of strong riders that can attack with Ayuso and Skjelmose… Atleast try to put pressure on Pogacar. Maybe he goes in the break himself, but then atleast he is more isolated

#TDF2026 I read all the talks about trying to attack Pogacar. Lets be clear: it really makes no sense and it wont happen Why? Its just the standings. Bora have just Remco, have no Lipo and he has two stage wins and 2nd place. Trek cant do it. Their two climbers are their two GC leader. Decathlon? Riccitello, Benoot, Prodhomme? All others will be laughing in the wheels and there is a risk to be countered. Jonas + Visma was the only hope for that…

Krysser fingrene for at Lidl Trek, Redbull, Decathlon, Baharain tør å angripe UAE i dag. Sistenevnte er fulle av sykdom i leiren og burde ikke klare å kontrollere etappen hvis det settes skikkelig press. Sett press på Pogacar ved å gå i brudd fra start med lagkamerater…!

@TourmanagerT Mads tapte trøya i dag ved å støte seg opp til bruddet. Alpecin var fornøyd med MDVP i brudd og Lidl hadde Simmons. Nå lot han Philipsen ta 50 poeng, mens han ble nummer 8 😂

Lidl svir av mye krefter på hjelperyttere som Simmons og Gee for grønn trøye. 3 monsteretapper på gang hvor Ayuso og Skjelmose trenger hele laget dedikert
