Most importantly, he stood by me during my toughest times. He shines as a father, a husband, and a man of integrity. Happy Birthday, Stéphane.

This trait shone brightest when he leveraged his wits to obtain over a thousand liters of milk through a points system. He did it because the math represented the supreme value. He marries his actions to his words.

"Brothers made in adversity." This phrase captures my bond with Stéphane, whose birthday fell yesterday. We navigated a complex childhood, finding strength in one another.

Profoundly honoured to join the Prime Minister, the Premier, other elected officials, President Chartrand, the Elders, and the Manitoba Métis Federation today on Treaty 1 territory. We gathered to honour Louis Riel—a patriot, a visionary, and the true father of Manitoba.

It is our sacred duty to ensure their courage and sacrifice are never forgotten. ​Lest we forget.

We remember and thank all who have served: those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, the veterans who carry the costs of their service, the families who supported them, and those in the Canadian Armed Forces who protect us today.

Today, we pause to observe Remembrance Day. ​It was a profound honour to stand in solemn reflection with fellow officials, community members, veterans, and active service members at this morning's observance.

That composure is what led him to win first place in his division. Next month, he'll compete for the first time in a main category against a much larger pool of players.

So proud of my son Loïc today. He was at the Manitoba Scholastic Chess Association tournament and showed real character—handling problems well, keeping a great attitude, and making smart decisions.

Thank you for being the best part of my life. ​To all who are celebrating today, a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

The time I have with all of you is the greatest gift. I'm also thankful to have in my life my Brothers Stéphane, his wife Marta and his sons Quim, Ferran and their Célia; My brother Dominic and his partner Courtney and the newest addition bébé Étienne.

Happy Thanksgiving! ​On this day of gratitude, my heart is especially full. I'm thankful for so much in my life, but most importantly, I'm thankful for the people I share it with every single day—my family.
