@jenwagner I would have also shared that Jen lived her faith in everything she did. She even formed a bible study for a few of her ed-tech friends in a virtual world. We met up as our avatars and discussed books and passages she recommended.

@jenwagner Thank you so much for streaming Jen's memorial service. I met Jen online nearly 20 years ago and, although we lived on opposite coasts, we had the opportunity to meet up in person a number of times. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

@jenwagner If I had been at Jen's memorial, I would have shared about her love of snow. I once livestreamed a major snowstorm from my office window just for Jen. Her reaction was one of pure joy. I will never forget that.

A3: Traditional "comp labs", MATH PLAYGROUND (There, I said it... no regrets), websites/software that are literally just babysitting sites w/o any creation, collaboration, communication, or critical thinking. Oh, and many "Kitsch" tech toys that serve no real purpose. #TXed

@EveryoneCanMath His math journey is off to a great start! I hope Math Playground will continue to challenge him as he acquires a deeper understanding of numbers and math concepts.

The little guy has been playing a multiplication game on @mathplayground. He doesn’t know all of his multiplication facts yet, but he’s building fluency as he works through each problem. Here is some of his thinking. He uses equal groups, decomposing numbers, and addition.

@kloneal2 It's a very empowering approach. One of my 3rd grade students told me he felt like a superhero because he could solve every problem I gave him.

Teachers, HELP us! PLEASE ditch key words & teach Ss to THINK: imagine & model word stories to develop solutions! Working to untrain a 2nd grader & provide them w/new tools! @mathplayground thinking blocks is a great place to start! ❤
