@Katy_primary97 Omg it’s so so demoralising at the start! I’m lucky that he eats really well now, and Id recommend freezing anything you make that he initially rejects as he may well come back to it!

@mathsonthebrain Yes so true, I do think with all the lovely recipes I’ll be annoyed if it doesn’t actually get consumed 😂

Has anyone had success with combining purées and baby-led weaning/finger foods? I’m considering doing both

@Katy_primary97 No he wasn’t, I think some of it was his hand eye coordination wasn’t that good at first, and that’s come along a lot obviously as he’s got older, and he’s also just got more hungry and loves shovelling it in 😆

@Sheena2907 I’ve gone to 0 a couple of times (within 100m of a petrol station), my husband claims there’s another 30 miles left at 0 but I haven’t put that to the test 😂

My new car has a thing telling me how many miles it has left in the tank. How accurate is this and how far do you push it before filling up?

Why are all baby boys’ clothes just tractors and dinosaurs?? 🙄

@Katy_primary97 Everyone I know with a little baby, including myself, has thought they were teething pre 4 months, and it’s not been that, just grumpy baby usually! You can have a feel in his mouth to see if anything’s cutting through but it’s unlikely.

Can you get just 2 red cheek when teething? Little man has been crying a lot, waking up crying and chewing his hands, wondering if it’s the start of teething despite only being nearly 11 weeks😬

@Katy_primary97 Aww bless him! Yes my boy slept well in it at night too, but day time naps out of my arms took a while to achieve. Currently in a sleep regression so he’s hit and miss on the naps again and night time is chaos, every age there’s a new phase 🙈

@mathsonthebrain Weirdly he sleeps very well in his next to me at night, but after about 5:30am he’s had enough of being on his own 😆

Has anyone got any tips for getting baby to sleep in his Moses basket for naps? He wakes up as soon as I put him in 😩 Have tried warming it up, rocking, hand on him, gradually putting him in.. nothing is working 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Katy_primary97 3 weeks is a mad phase for cluster feeding, then it calms a bit (until 6 weeks where it happens again 🙈), you’ll be able to get out soon! Also ask for omeprazole to help with the reflux 😊

Would love to take baby out more but feeling trapped by the struggles of breast feeding- cluster feeding, reflux, being fussy all the time.. makes it so hard to do anything as it’s constant 😫

Where do I find a fab resource which requires pupils to select the correct differentiation method (chain, product, quotient, mix of more than one)?

@MathsMissC At the start of y10 we split kids into foundation crossover higher, crossover kids study some accessible higher content, then at the end of y10 we make the ‘final’ decision between higher + foundation based on mocks. Still tier change about 10 kids in y11 but in feb at the latest

Maths teachers/Heads of Maths. When do you decide what tier of entry students will sit? So you know what content to teach them.

Schools and leaders need to really consider the sharing of provisional P8/SPI data from SISRA before the annual results day update, and updates that continue for days/weeks. Narratives are set and teachers/HoD's are affected by how 'progress' is framed when it's incomplete data.
