$UVIX: Interesting LEAPS activity today.
UVIX is one of the most punishing instruments to hold due to structural decay. Seeing over $1.8M combined flow into January 2028 calls is therefore noteworthy.
There are certainly better hedging vehicles, so the discussion is not about optimal hedge construction.
The takeaway:
Capital is beginning to seek long-duration volatility exposure.
That is incrementally supportive of the broader bearish thesis.

$NVDA Today's Divergence Star.
Today all charts are compliant within the selling channel except for $NVDA's and $SMH (heavy nvda).
NVDA forgot something from the June 2nd macro top day; to Retest that wick from the macro top day, so today it goes to retest it.
$AAPL down $RSP towards the day's low level, $SVIX down, etc. only one star is up. But if this is all she is going to write, then the lines show the move just ended. Get ready for the trip down.
If NVDA will go above shown double line, then she will pull the market up and up. Not the base case.

if you are trading stocks, this is a must to understand.
It doesn't really matter what you are doing, but at the end of the day, when placing a trade, you need some sort of resistance line/level to define your entries (if trading breakouts/pullbacks).
What you are doing here is DEFINING RISK.
Of course I have a bunch of rules to define what type of consolidation breakouts I'm trading, but literally when I scan for stocks with my chart template, all I do is draw a line to look for the BO and define my risk.
I know some discretionary stock traders who all they do is draw a line and trade from there.
If your risk/reward is in play, and you know the math and distribution of what you trade, it's as simple as defining risk, and letting the risk-reward of the trade play out with a set success rate %, that's where expectancy comes from (what defines if you make or lose money long term).
The whole point is that us techincal traders, a simple line/level is a line in the sand to define risk and let our edge play out.
Most people see lines in a chart, us traders see EDGE.

Most people don't realize you can draw a line on any chart and decide to be bullish above it and bearish below it. Fundamentals, news, macro, interest rates, oil prices, none of it matters. You don’t even need to know what asset you’re trading. Above your line, you're long with the trend. Below it, you're defensive. It keeps you on the right side of the market while managing your risk. This is one of the most important concepts in technical analysis.
