LIFE UPDATE! I've resigned from my position as Senior Director of Field Engineering at Moderne. I still believe in the Moderne mission of code modernization; this is a problem that is huge and only growing. I just see myself taking a different path. Taking a page from Kelsey Hightower and FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early), I'm happy to be able to step away and thoughtfully consider potential next steps. No rush, this will be the first holiday season I've been "fully present" for family in a very long time...and I'm loving it. I have a few pet projects I plan to nurture & guide and going forward, I'll only choose things to which I feel I can contribute most meaningfully. I'm grateful for that opportunity.
