Neil, you're not misinterpreting it but the timeline explains the apparent contradiction. Robbins, Lammy and Starmer did not have access to the vetting material at the time the appointment was made because the confidentiality rules around developed vetting restrict disclosure to those directly involved in the process. That is the architecture Robbins cited as his reason for not informing ministers. Little obtained access much later and through an exceptional route. When Parliament passed the Humble Address compelling the government to release all relevant Mandelson material, Little was tasked with compliance. When Robbins refused to hand over the vetting documents she took the unusual step of going directly to security officials to obtain what she needed. That access was granted specifically to discharge her parliamentary obligations, not through the normal vetting confidentiality framework. So the answer is that Little did not have access at the time either. She obtained it months later through an exceptional process triggered by a parliamentary order that did not exist when the appointment was made. What makes her testimony significant is not that she had access others were denied. It is that having obtained that access, having read the material, she still would not discuss its contents in open committee and cited national security as her reason for stopping mid-sentence. That tells you something about what the material contains. And that is the question that remains unanswered.

So you genuinely believe that Ollie Robbins and Chris Wormald who headed up the foreign office and cabinet office, saw that Mandelson had failed the vetting and then both conspired to lie to their respective bosses and told them he HAD passed the vetting, knowing if it ever came out it would be the absolute end of their careers? Have you seen the clips of them giving evidence to the parliamentary committee on this? Watch it, you may change your view. AND the political editor of the Independent is now sharing text messages from 7/8 months ago last September showing that he had heard Mandelson had failed the vetting. How could the Pm and foreign secretary possibly have only heard this week? Do the live in a vacuum somewhere. It’s ridiculous.

Over half of UK smokers say Keir Starmer’s latest tobacco tax hikes will drive them straight to the black market. From October, packs of 20 will cost another £1.21 and hand-rolling tobacco jumps £2.54, pushing legal prices even higher. 57% admit they’ll hunt for cheaper illegal fags; 48% say they’re more likely to buy them outright. Black market already costs taxpayers £2 BILLION a year and funds organised crime, trafficking and violence. Illegal packs sell for as little as £5.

A very special first introduction today - my second grandchild. It is all of our responsibility to leave a better Britain to our children and grandchildren than the one left to us. We certainly have an awfully long way to go, but I still believe we can do it.

Young white girls, essentially kept as sex slaves for years, filmed being industrially raped, to blackmail them. Hooked on drugs to control them. Unspeakable abuse & torture. Deport the adult men back to Pakistan ? a. Yes b. No

@RachelD1892 Starmer trying desperately to distract & tragically failing. He showed his true colours to the country today & it won't go down well. Refusing to answer the same question on six separate occasions is an act of total cowardice.

I went on national TV and said that little British girls are still being raped, tortured, and abused by Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs. The next day, the police came to my door to try and threaten me into silence. But I was right. And it isn’t just taxis and takeaways. Vape shops are plying little girls with free vapes in exchange for “sexual favours”. It’s the textbook grooming model: gifts, compliments, making their victims feel special and wanted. It’s that much easier to coerce a child into “accepting” their abuse when one creates a power imbalance or a sense of social currency. That the price you pay for being groomed is rape, abuse, and exploitation. That you deserve it. That you asked for it. That you brought it on yourself. Child sexual exploitation is a tale as old as time. But it isn’t a thing of the past. It is still happening in towns and cities across the UK. Little girls are being subjected to the worst abuse imaginable, at the hands of men who know they can get away with it. How? Because they’re already done it for years. Nothing has changed. Powerful people are still turning a blind eye despite decades of undeniable evidence. Politicians are trying to sweep the scandal under the carpet, sabotaging the National Inquiry at every turn so that they can save their own skins. And little girls are still being sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism and traded for votes. Decades later. The same old story. The grooming gangs scandal is the worst stain on British history, and I hold every powerful person accountable for it. Their sneering ignorance has facilitated the industrial-scale rape of little British girls. The continued failure to protect our children from these vile predators is an indictment on every sector of British society. Starmer may not have shoved little girls into taxis or plied them with vapes himself, but he is just as guilty as if he had. And I, for one, refuse to be silenced by the very people who have spent decades discrediting victims and survivors like me. Enough is enough.
