@Bounce_BackLoan One theory... they send out default notices, you don’t (or can’t pay), they do the bare minimum to try and collect (itself heinous), they then claim the full amount from the government (100% guarantee remember) plus the BIP they’ve already had and your credit is screwed further🤔

Hi @NatWest_Help @LloydsBank @BarclaysUKHelp @HSBC_UK when u turn customer down for Rec Loan and by law (when they are at their most vulnerable) have to offer to pass their details over to high interest rate Gov approved loan sharks (referral scheme) do you retain a duty of care?

@Bounce_BackLoan So the BBB managed to get an organised system in place for brokers (their mates) quickly but never managed to organise the original BBL scheme properly over 11 months! Reprehensible beyond belief 😡

The Recovery Loan Lenders even have a system in place courtesy of the British Business Bank built with "brokers" in mind, all set up before launch to ensure their broker chums can earn a nice big fat commission/fee off a Gov backed scheme. Makes you sick. (click to view in full)

@Bounce_BackLoan Yes, they consider the business too high a risk, even with an 80% guarantee and so want to pass it on to their mates who can charge a fortune in interest. Would be interesting to know if these adverse credit lenders also get the government guarantee, even with higher returns!

Metro Bank use that excuse, basically if in the past they have had a lot of loans go sour that they lent out to window cleaners for example, and you apply and are a window cleaner, they wont want to know. Could be other reasons too.

@matrixgolfapps @Bounce_BackLoan @RishiSunak Agree that this makes it difficult, but there is an argument that if something like my suggestion isn't done, many of those who borrowed on the original BBL will have gone bust and no way of recovering the original loans....better to bolster support than have a total loss?

@AngusKeen @Bounce_BackLoan @RishiSunak Unfortunately, due to amount of fraud (real or perceived) that occurred on the BBLS (mostly due the banks total failure to perform adequate checks early on), this is never going to happen. It’s safe to say that this is all that will be offered sadly 😬

@Bounce_BackLoan @RishiSunak Simplest solution by far would be to increase the % of BBL to 40 or 50% of t/o. No paperwork needed, if you qualified for original BB, you can automatically get the new loan. Come on @RishiSunak , do the right thing!!

@Bounce_BackLoan Basically this is helping out the large(er) companies get a loan on similar terms to normal, but with only 20% “at risk” and requiring approval. Small businesses (T/O less than £100k), forget it!
