@Top100Rick I’m an overseas member at Aberdour. Costs $220 for unlimited golf all summer. Lovely course across the water from Edinburgh, you can see the whole city in profile from Edinburgh Castle to Arthur’s Seat. Right beside the water, but not a links course, and in great condition.

If a Scotland trip is in the works for you, highly recommend reading or bookmarking this thread. So many generous people gave some great ideas for where to play in Scotland and I bet many would happily answer any questions you have about Scottish golf. Love the generosity of golfers.

@PITairport Love the airport, but if you want to be an international destination, you need to figure out the international bag transfer system to landside. We’ve been waiting about an hour for something that should take 5-10 mins max.

Incredibly sad news about Gary Lopaschuk. He was a giant in the field of cardiac metabolism, and I greatly enjoyed meeting him when he visited Pittsburgh a few years ago to give a lecture. He will be sadly missed by many.

Fascinating work by Paramesha Bugga, an amazing postdoc in our lab.

And it seems like the signal driving the liver dysfunction is altered branched chain amino acid metabolism in the heart leading to excess plasma BCAAs/BCKAs.
