We really count on the 90 billion support package to deliver the first tranche – as soon as possible. This money is for our army, and we are ready to buy weapons with it – including air defense. It is also funding that will help us prepare for winter – and work has already started to protect our energy system, and the European funds will support this as well. And please continue your work on sanctions against Russia. It is right to strengthen sanctions, especially since the Americans have eased some of theirs. Right now, the situation on the front in Ukraine is special. Our positions are more stable than in previous months and years, and Russia is losing at least 30-35 thousand soldiers every month. We are not just carrying out strikes on Russia. We are responding. After the global energy crisis began, we received signals from some partners requesting that we reduce our responses targeting Russia’s oil and energy sector. Iranian “shaheds” enhanced by Russia hit a church in Lviv – this is utterly perverse, and only the likes of Putin could take pleasure in it. In Ivano-Frankivsk, a maternity hospital was damaged. The scale of today’s attack strongly indicates that Russia has no intention of really ending this war. If we take into account that Russia is also helping the Iranian regime to carry out strikes across the region, the conclusion becomes self-evident: without additional and strong pressure on Russia, without significant Russian losses, those in Moscow will not develop any desire to back down from the war and somehow come to terms with peace again. Pressure is clearly lacking right now. On the contrary, there are signals encouraging Russia to continue what they have been doing for years, only increasing their aggressiveness. The fact that sanctions against Russia have been partially eased serves Russia’s interest to continue the war. The Russians will earn at least two billion dollars from the easing of sanctions in these weeks alone. This is dangerous for everyone.

The Swedish government approved the allocation of a 21st military support package to Ukraine worth SEK 12.9 billion ($1.4 billion), focused on air defense, it said in a statement. Thank you, Sweden! 🇸🇪 🇺🇦 ◾️ Sweden will allocate approximately $473 million for the purchase of weapons systems for subsequent supply to Ukraine. This includes the Tridon Mk2 and RBS 70 air defense systems, as well as air defense missiles and attack drones. In addition, the country will supply sensors, robots, and anti-aircraft guns. ◾️ Another $616 million is earmarked for Ukraine's own production of long-range drones and unmanned surface vessels. ◾️ The remaining $330 million will be used for procurement of large quantities of ammunition, as well as the donations of spare materiel and training for Ukrainian personnel.
