Fascinated by the variety of views on Tom Ince. Not sure he’s as bad as made out but appreciate he’s not the tricky, goalscoring winger he once was. Always seems to use the ball well and gives us some tactical flexibility. #WatfordFC

@JordanWiemer I do think some of the criticism of JG is harsh, we don’t have many options on the right and personally I’m not impressed with Irankunda, he’s so sloppy on the ball.

Some more control with the change in shape, but it’s still stagnant. Maamma will always carry a threat but the right hand side is just too negative. We’ve got the additional body in midfield, we don’t need to be so cautious there. Winnable game but we’ve got to be positive with our subs.

@Steve70_WFC @HemelHornet1881 Don’t agree at all, he’s a very good defender. Fans moan they don’t like tippy tappy football around the back but then want the players that do that on the pitch. Bizarre to me!

@HemelHornet1881 @matt36717 He was, seen milk turn quicker. Keben & Pollock can't play together. Keben was playing well prior to Pollock returning. It will be interesting, if Kebens does, Pollock will have nowhere to hide!

We need to change the CB pairing going forward but Pollock has to be 1 of them. He’s the only CB with a different profile to the others and he’ll allow the others cb’s to play while he stays as an out and out CB. KK and Abankwah didn’t work earlier in the season. #watfordfc

@JordanWiemer I love Ngakia! Yes, he has a mistake in him but that’s why he’s a championship footballer. Genuinely gives everything when he plays and that alone is enough for me. Think he’s one of the most positive players getting us forwards.

One thing I’ll say about this team, we’re incredibly fit. This squads ability to play at a good tempo in what is a very stretched and demanding system is impressive. Louza/Bola/Ngakia were relentless.

@JordanWiemer Had a lot of frustration with Javi yesterday, the second half we were crying out for some pace on the right wing, there was so much space there. Ngakia needed to play right back and right WB as Edo was lost and having no effect. Put a winger on and we win that game!

We’re close to being quite a good side. We’re looking more comfortable in the 442 and I do think it’s our best formation form what we’ve seen. But spacing at times is a problem. Yes we create some room for Imran, but it would be nice to see us stepping a little higher at times. I’ll go through the numbers in a bit and see if the numbers back up what the eyes are telling me over the last couple of games. Will be discuss tactics/personnel further on the @WatfordPod.

Javi getting it spectacularly wrong in 3/3 games so far isn’t great. But the performances from the players not including those who shall not be named have been pretty good. The response to going behind and down to 10 was encouraging but meh

@louorns I just don’t see that Ngakia is that bad, sometimes he makes poor choices but the last few games I think he’s been one of our better players.

Really don’t get the Ngakia hate, think he’s been one of our better players the last few games. He made 1 mistake yesterday and unfortunately it ended in a goal, that can happen to any player. #watfordfc

@Watford_Douglas He made 1 mistake and unfortunately it cost a goal. He had a great game yesterday, kept one of WBA’s most dangerous players quiet.

When will it sink in that Ngakia is a massive issue in this squad. Absolute madness Petris went off instead of him.

I love Baah but his attitude was an issue tonight. Didn’t look at all bothered warming up, just walking around. Coach came and spoke to him and again, he wasn’t interested so I presume they went with another option. #watfordfc

@rio_woolf Watching Baah warming up was embarrassing, he didn’t look like he wanted to come on, was just walking up and down the touch line, looking bored. I’m a big fan of his but he needs to show he wants it more.

@louorns I really like Pollock and Abankwah together. Think their strengths and weaknesses match to help each other out

James Abankwah is developing into a top centre back. Seems to have unlocked the aerial duel gene and bailed out Pollock a few times tonight

@Adam_Drury1 Isn’t this the same as not being able to get a job because you have no experience? I feel like there has to more to the Baah situation as it always seems to be about ‘consistency’
