5-years ago today, I said goodbye to my father. Going to Easter service, he suddenly passed while getting in his car. He experienced the ultimate Easter service, up close and in person that day with his Savior, Jesus. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him — his voice, his laugh, his strength, and his spiritual influence on my life. Time has passed, but love doesn’t leave. Grief changes shape, but so does gratitude. Today I honor my father. I miss him deeply, and I carry him with me daily. Forever loved. Forever missed. ♥️ But I will see him again one day. 🙏
