@JapanTripFriend I have lived in Japan on and off since 2008 and have never been in any of the towers/ sky tree. I’m from Seattle and went to the space needle one time visiting with my family from Japan.

Tokyo Tower or Skytree, which one would you choose? Tokyo Tower: You can actually climb it not only by elevator, but also by stairs. I’ve done both. lol The elevator is definitely easier, but if you want a challenge, give the stairs a try. Inside, you can even play a shuriken throwing game, and the souvenir shops are pretty great too. When I went last year, there were tons of koinobori decorations and it looked amazing. I added a video from that day too! Tokyo Skytree: I’ve been up twice. What I like about Skytree is that you can walk around Tokyo Solamachi after coming down. There’s a teppanyaki restaurant called “Matenro” inside, and the view, food, and atmosphere were all incredible. It’s also the tallest tower in Japan. 634 meters. If you ask which one I recommend… honestly, both are great. They’re in completely different areas, so I’d choose based on what else you want to do. If you’re exploring central Tokyo like Roppongi, go with Tokyo Tower. If you’re visiting Asakusa or Oshiage, go with Skytree. If you have time, you should try both. lol Which one would you pick?

I live here and コンビニ sometimes are staffed by non Japanese, but mostly I see older people who want to work and young people entering the workforce. Most minimum wage type jobs around the world are like this. Depending on the city in the U.S a McDonald’s could be staffed by 2 people who speak English. Jobs don’t discriminate if someone is willing and able to do them.

When people who don’t live here say “Japan” they actually mean specific neighborhoods in Tokyo and Osaka.

We need identification to get a job… purchase firearms, get cold medicine, go into the casino, claim lottery winnings, open a bank account, rent a car, get a hotel room, rent an apartment, notarize a document, enter federal buildings, picking up prescriptions, concealed pistol license…. I think he does a good job. The only thing I dislike about the UFC commentating, is when they use first names for the fighters. I don’t remember their first names if I haven’t seen them a bunch of times. The last names are on the screen with the short color… first names tell me nothing.

Yesterday the Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney for the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office had a meeting with me that she just put on my calendar like she is my boss. She never emailed me or my assistant to ask for a meeting. It was very disrespectful since she isn't even in the top three chain of command. But, I met with her none the less. I was curious why she wanted to speak with me. She brought two other attorneys with her. I believe that she was trying to intimidate me. She wanted to let me know that I no longer am allowed to have an attorney with me when I have a Loudermill hearing. This is a hearing with an accused employee before punishment is imposed. It's part of due process. I explained to her my experience working at a large agency. The Chief of Police ALWAYS had an attorney (legal advisor) present when she/he imposed discipline. The legal advisor (attorney) would make sure that the Chief did not violate the US Constitution, the Washington State Constitution, labor laws, union contracts, and policies and procedures. My argument fell on deaf ears. She looked at me with contempt. The look was, "how dare he question me." She was trying to hide it, but I have been a cop for a long time. I know non-verbal communication and pre-attack indicators. This is the latest example of why I need to have my own legal advisor. This person is either incompetent or trying to sabotage me or both.
