Today a measure of justice was achieved for Angelina Palmer, a bystander struck and killed by gunfire walking out of a gas station in 2022. Jerrmell Warren was sentenced today to 63 years, 7 months in prison. Thank you to DPAs Ben Nelson and Ray Odell for their work on this case.

The April 2019 killing of Soon Ja Nam, 79, at the Handy Corner Market shocked the community. Yesterday a jury found Robbrie Thompson guilty of murdering Nam and then his 16-year-old friend. Deputy prosecutors Kawyne Lund and Brian Wasankari did an outstanding job on the case.

It was Legal Financial Obligation Reconsideration Day at the courthouse. 1,000 people came in for reconsideration of outstanding fines. It took many prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, court staff and volunteers to pull it off. Here are three of our many PCPAO helpers today!
