@Jason The minimum wage thing has got to stop. It's pretty much made high-school and college kids unemployable.

I would tax folks under $75k at 1%, so they were still tossing in half a week's paycheck… and felt like they were part of the American process. … but Jeff is correct overall, let the bottom half of earners spend their money and crank the progressive taxation system one or two more turns Also, it wouldn’t hurt anyone to increase our federal minimum wage by a meager $1 a year for seven years — didn’t do any harm in Australia, the Nordics and New Zealand Much better proposals than @RoKhanna and @BernieSanders’ wealth seizure taxes
Jeff Bezos@JeffBezos

Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.

Every single time I shop at Costco the parking lot is completely full. People literally fight for parking spaces. Shopping inside the store is honestly a terrible experience. Everyone is either old or overweight. Buggies completely full of snacks, toilet paper, and rotisserie chickens. Checkout is a very manual process and typically takes just as long as shopping does. The food court is full of cheap and high calorie items. Good value but full of sodium and seed oils. As a shareholder - the company is extrememly well run. Has a very strong private label brand (Kirkland). Has pricing power to manage tarrifs/inflation etc… They have consistently grown their dividend and have a history of paying special dividends to shareholders Costco is a cash cow and I love being a shareholder

Costco stock is now trading at all time highs. The stock is now trading at a forward P/E multiple of 52.33x! How much of a premium are investors willing to pay for 'AI-Proof' businesses?

I just went to my polling place, showed my photo ID, and proudly voted for Ed Gallrein! And I’m a former 7 time Massie voter. No more!

Massie lost. Not shocking, but terrible for the country. His sin was standing up to the Epstein class, and Trump destroyed him for it. His replacement is just another mindless hack, the last thing Congress needs right now. MAGA will celebrate tonight, but they’ll be paying for it in November.

@RubinReport Dave you've become such a little bitch. And now mostly irrelevant. The Rubin Report is dead and you've done it to yourself

A regular-sized sandwich, a bag of chips, and a soda cost you like $17 now at Jersey Mike's, then they ask for a tip on their tablet, making the total close to $20. Wealthy people don't care because they don't need to budget, but for middle-class Americans, this is a big problem.

@jason_bethel @grok @fadethecrowd @stelzner_n1150 @vol_fir Compared to housing and healthcare!? And I forgot the other big one -- education. Not even close. Grocery stores for 1 are not subsidized in a large fashion. You can't finance your food purchases through the government. Restaurants are not subsidized.

“Real men use wood to heat their Hot Tubs!” Is that true? And does the built in stove really get the water hot enough?

Curious to get views on the job Amy Adams-Strunk has done as #Titans owner as a whole from March 2015 to present. She’s (rightfully) been criticized for her missteps in the messy Robinson-Vrabel-Carthon-Callahan transition, but overall still think she’s done more good than bad.
Mike Herndon@MikeHerndonSk1

@tylershedron She’s made some bad mistakes with the Carthon/Vrabel/Callahan debacle but overall I still think she’s done a lot to move the franchise in the right direction since 2015. Has invested a TON of money in both football and non-football staff as well as facilities and technology.

To anyone opposing Thomas Massie: What’s the strongest fact-based case for Gallrein as the better candidate? I haven’t seen one yet. If you’ve got one, let’s hear it.
