Poor refereeing yes, never a red yeah probably not but it was a poor challenge which he didn’t need to make and ultimately you give the referee a decision to make and with groans from the stands and players surrounding the ref it was always likely to be given as a straight red

The amount of people saying “ if Lawlor made that challenge you wouldn’t say anything” is laughable it would still be a stupid challenge to make if he did it. The difference is he’s still learning his trade as a defender Osho is an established centre back.. 1/2

Red card or not there was no need for Osho to make that tackle and to give the ref a decision to make. Very poor. Get why turn red got the ref out - looked terrible in real time.

Defended Osho so often this season when others haven’t, but he’s completely killed this game for us when we were in complete control. You can argue whether it was a red or yellow all night but fact is he gave the referee a decision to make. Bloke is a fucking idiot.
