@matthewoaks I have probably watched 1.5 NFL games this year that weren't the Steelers. All I watch is CF and Ive seen bad calls. But the NFL is just worse. Most of the time there's 2 or 3 penalties a game in college. There's 2 or 3 penalties on some drives in the NFL. It just becomes boring.

From the US Census report; "...readers should be aware that, for many different reasons, many respondents tend to misreport or not report their income sources." Supplementing from an IRA/401k would increase their tax.

@TKopelman Not to mention, most people pay a far lower tax rate in retirement than working due to the fact that retirees make far less than working years. Roths are overrated for most people. Tax deduction + match is more benefit than a Roth.

Here's something a bit different from our usual content. U.S. Representative Shri Thanedar sold up to $500K of Bitcoin and $250K of Ethereum last month. Since then, Bitcoin has risen 56% and Ethereum has risen 55%. Some of the most poorly-timed congressional trades I've seen.

CONGRESS APPEARS TO BE HIDING THEIR NEW STOCK TRADES.
Been posting about this for days, but don’t see anyone covering it.
I have code that detects when new congressional financial disclosures are filed.
It has seen four new filings in 2024, but none have been made publicly available.
This means that the public cannot see new stock trades by the House of Representatives.
The STOCK Act is supposed to require that new disclosures are made publicly available.
Hoping we can all draw enough attention to this to get answers on why this does not seem to be the case.
