In October, Stuart Worby, a 40-year-old man, was found guilty of s*xual assault and administering poison after secretly giving a pregnant woman dr*gs to induce a miscarriage. The woman, 15 weeks pregnant, suffered intense abdominal pain and subsequently lost her baby in August 2022. Worby delayed getting her medical help, worsening her condition. Worby will be sentenced on December 6, 2024.

Shane Waldron is done as Bears OC after 9 games in Chicago. The likely candidate to call plays for the remainder of the season is Thomas Brown, the Bears passing game coordinator, who was the offensive coordinator for the Panthers in 2023 and has playcalling experience at the collegiate level with Miami (Fla.) from 2016-18.
