@rdonoghue I think it was olde tyme STARFLEET BATTLES that described an arc like this as "a cocaine economy": It feels great at first, but you get diminishing returns until it just breaks even, and then it kills you.

One curious thing from discussion at the end of our Sprawl game was that while we enjoy PBTA games as a group, we almost never return to them. As we talked about future play that could have happened, I remarked that we hadn't used up the characters, but we had used up the game.

Pixie has had a heart attack, has had oxygen and meds, and is staying at the vet for observation. Hopefully, she can come home in the morning.

My little Pixie is laying on her side, struggling to breathe and apparently can't get up. No idea what's happened to her, but taking her up to the vet. And trying not to panic :(

I'd argue that the State should provide the infrastructure for the first two levels of Maslow's heirachy of needs.
