@BBCSport I like the suggestion that you have the equivalent of an "umpire's call". So if an offside falls within a predetermined margin of error, the system kicks out 'Referee's Call' and you stick with the onfield decision. Though still doesn't get to the heart of the issue for many.

NFL, cricket, rugby... all understand that transparency won't solve officiating issues, but it's better than gatekeeping. Who benefits from not sharing it?
I don't like the amount of focus placed on referees, but show them how professional you are. Or is that the problem.

The VAR audio for every game should be available live or as close to live as possible for every single game that it’s in operation. That’s been the most logical path to take since the beginning. Transparency and accountability should be at the core of officiating in the game.
