@jar_rosenholtz To me the difference from past wild concepts is that this is a lot easier to build. Mostly parts bin. Ultium skateboard, Celestiq front end and interior, just custom body panels aft of the a-pillar, custom backseat, and good to go. And hand-building means less production tooling

@jar_rosenholtz I think they’ll totally build it if they’re happy with Celestiq take rate. This and a coupe are the next logical steps in my mind if they want to keep building $300k+ cars.

@jar_rosenholtz The V6 ones are really under appreciated in my opinion. The V8s get all the love, understandably, but a supercharged V6 is also really cool, better balanced and still plenty of power to have fun. I even reviewed the base one with the open diff and thought it was great.

@jar_rosenholtz I’ve loved them ever since they came out, fantastic cars. I still want one someday when I don’t need a backseat anymore.

@jar_rosenholtz He also has the power to find a way to sell the Puma here. That would be a nice start to re-establishing smaller vehicles here if he’s serious about it.

@jar_rosenholtz Dealers are holding them hostage with markups still I think. Hundreds in inventory around the country yet everyone in my livestreams say they still haven’t seen one in the wild.

@jar_rosenholtz It takes time and activity for the algorithm to give you more variety, but it’s still a pretty unsophisticated algorithm, pretty much the same as IG explore page.

@jar_rosenholtz I think it’s also why part of why Car Confections is growing so fast, getting cars/trims that we can’t get in the press fleet. They seem to have a great dealer network.

@jar_rosenholtz @GTGarageTalk It’s how I got my start too. Honestly I think it’s good to do both, and not wait on the manufacturer if they’re behind the dealers with drives/press cars. I consider it one of the missteps in my car reviewing career. I should have kept going to dealers when they got the car 1st.
