AfD-Parteichef Tino Chrupalla fordert im #BerichtausBerlin den Abzug der US-Truppen aus Deutschland – und spricht sich grundsätzlich gegen noch stationierte alliierte Truppen „und deren Atomwaffen“ aus.

BREAKING : Donald Trump got humiliated publicly on camera Trump was criticising Kier Starmer 🇬🇧 for not supporting US in the war against Iran Ireland 🇮🇪 Prime Minister didn't hold back and said "Starmer is an earnest person who gets to work with very nicely if you have capacity" 🔥 This man wanted to isolate Iran but now getting exposed by everyone 🫡

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

The American Embassy is being evacuated in Riyadh because of sustained attacks by Iran against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is my understanding the Kingdom refuses to use their capable military as a part of an effort to end the barbaric and terrorist Iranian regime who has terrorized the region and killed 7 Americans. Question – why should America do a defense agreement with a country like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is unwilling to join a fight of mutual interest? Americans are dying and the U.S. is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime that threatens the region. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia seems to be issuing statements and doing things in the background that are marginally helpful, but unwilling to participate in military operations to end the reign of terror coming out of Iran. Hopefully Gulf Cooperation Council countries will get more involved as this fight is in their backyard. If you are not willing to use your military now, when are you willing to use it? Hopefully this changes soon. If not, consequences will follow. nytimes.com/2026/03/08/wor…

Chancellor Merz visited President Trump in the White House, the first leader to do so since the start of the US and Israeli war on Iran. The two men discussed Iran - but also Ukraine and tariffs. DW's @MKuefner asked Merz what came out of the talks.
