I figured it out.
When was the last time your figured something difficult out? Has it been awhile? Anyway, I found myself chewing on a problem for the last several weeks and I decided to put it down and forget about it a few days ago.
Woke up this morning with an answer - clear, simple, easy.
Resolved by the end of the day.
Perhaps, in my lack of wisdom, I have have found something you can use to solve your most pressing problem. Put it down for a minute. Have a sandwich. Throw your phone in the woods (or a drawer at least). Take a walk. Go to sleep for 8 full hours. Forget about it entirely for 48 hours.
You will know if it’s laziness or if it’s rest. Give it a shot.

@awfulannouncing Commercials are a vastly better experience than the ESPN halftime show. I think beyond making money, they know that people just tune out.
The ESPN studio team adds literally nothing to the viewing experience.

The ESPN/ABC Finals halftime show for Game 1 had two segments with the on-site panel totaling around a minute and 20 seconds. They also had some brief thoughts from the game announcers. And lots of commercials. bit.ly/3z2iutK

@onlyfootnotes Kindle is on my short list. Extremely underrated. My Espresso machine made it as well hahaha. Great minds.

@mattonpurpose candidates: my mac / iPhone / airpods, pen type c from cw&t, my espresso machine / aeropress / french press, my MQ24-7B2 casio watch, our Subaru, or my Kindle.

I really love weird things. I think weird things are where good taste comes from.
I’ve recently been watching “Everybody’s in LA” a live show hosted by @mulaney. It’s funny, and human, and it doesn’t always work, but it’s perfect.
(And the typeface is great too)

@bnj Yeah that’s what it seems
I would love to be able to select a bunch of stuff in Figma and click a “clean up and make nice” button where it organizes and names layers, does auto layout, makes things into components, etc
