Schedule News: UConn will host Kansas as part of its 2026-27 non-conference schedule. The date will be either Friday December 11th or Saturday December 12th. This is a return game from the 25-26 season.

There are 2 VERY different realities for UConn depending on the outcome of tonight’s title game. A) Beat Michigan. Win a 3rd title in a four years. What’s now seen as an incredibly impressive run becomes an undisputed dynasty. B) Lose to Michigan. End the season with a “runner up trifecta”. Big East regular season runner up. Big East tournament runner up. NCAA Tournament runner up. My gut tells me UConn uses the choke jobs against Marquette & St. John’s as fuel for this year’s team to finally finish the job & beat Michigan for the title. Everything else though points to Michigan winning by 20 & cruising to a championship.

Outside of the fateful Maui trip, UConn in the last four seasons is 57-3 in games against non-Big East opponents. Only losses: Arizona this November, Florida last March and Kansas in December 2024.
