Barbados records here. Went through 3km in 8:36 today, so maybe even the 3km is possible too. Post Olympic year, may be the time to go after it 👏🏼

14:38 at the @Cardiff5K today to open my racing season. First time I’ve raced a 5km without a swim and bike before it for over 10 years, and a 2 second PB. 200bpm avg heat rate for 15mins to get there 😮‍💨 Just 18 seconds off the Barbados record of 14:20. Summer project 👀🤔?!

Nothing like a final hard session of a 25 hour training week being a 5km road race. Sufferation 🥴. Happy to run 14:38 for 5km @Cardiff5K. Always fancied a go at the Barbados record of 14:20 but the triathlon season never allowed it. Post Olympic year, now may be the time 🤷🏻‍♂️?
