@FPLfrasier I want to see a defending team put 4 players on the half way line, then the defending team would have to do the same. Less in the box then and it’s just catching practice for the keeper.

Genuine question. What is the opposition supposed to do here? How do you defend if your goalkeeper isn’t allowed to jump? What happens if every team plays like this from corners?

@sampeoples_ The mistake was not taking Saudi money for Bruno and using that for a midfielder to play alongside Mainoo.

United’s mistake this summer was spending £70m+ on a striker instead of a central midfielder after we signed Cunha and Mbeumo. This is no slight on Sesko, it was just the wrong strategy and use of funds. We’d be a stronger team if we’d spent that money on a CM and kept Hojlund.

Talk of Bruno Fernandes being sold to Saudi always sounded strange. Manchester United wouldn’t countenance it, they couldn’t countenance it, Fernandes is their captain and most important player. He’s a fighter for the cause, and United don’t have many. He gives United fans hope that somebody is trying to turn the tide. You couldn’t put a price on what Fernandes is worth to United. Fernandes may be over-emotional at times, moaning at officials, but he cares. He takes responsibility in pressure moments like the pen against Burnley, rescued United from more brutal headlines, and saved Ruben Amorim from another painful inquest. Talk to anyone at United and they’ll tell you that Fernandes cares about the team and cares about the club. He helps people out behind the scenes. United need more people like Fernandes not fewer. The desert can wait #MUFC
