Going back and watching Dragon Ball Z Kai. I’ve never watched this version, without all the filler stuff. Not gonna lie, it’s kind of nice. Everything took fooooooooorevvvvvvvvvvvvvver in the original DBZ series.

I still have a bangover

I just feel like you aren’t getting your money’s worth by having 50-100% of what you are hearing at a show be pre-recorded. Where’s the governing body that’s handing out fines to bands for using performance enhancers? 🤣

A huge problem I have with using full on pre-recorded backing tracks live so it takes the pressure off the musician so they can focus on “performing” is that technical prowess playing your instrument each night was always part of the “performing”. Are fans satisfied with that? 🤔

@JBeatty616 @TravisReilly Someone must have forgotten their calculator whenever they started added expenses to their touring cost. The “‘well this wasn’t expensive’ times a bunch of stuff = a lot of money” problem. Lol

@mattydoom @TravisReilly Feel like that last part is where the problem lies. It’s wild to remember when a lot of bands were doing the 360 deals and talking about how great it was and it was gonna change the business for the better of the artist. Or at least i remember that being the case w/ Korn.

@JBeatty616 @TravisReilly My guess would be if they are selling out rooms that big their manager is taking at least 20% of gross and if they signed a 360 deal with their label then the label gets % of gross from touring and merchandising. Mix that in with usual expenses and some bad decision making… 🤷🏻‍♂️

@TravisReilly I was just reading all of this, clicked the dudes profile to see what band he was in, and came to a few conclusions. 1) they’re investing in their live show to hopefully take next step in career. 2) he’s a hired gun. 3) someone is fucking the band over.

You can choose whether you want to be a positive source of energy in the world or if you want to be a negative source of energy. I feel like engrossing yourself with negativity only negatively impacts your life. Choose to be what you want to see in this world.

This whole no caffeine thing is really starting to ruin my life…

Thought I had a shitty chest work out yesterday. Woke up today more sore than I can recently remember. Combine that with my calves still being wrecked and I’m pretty useless right now. Lol. 🤢🤮

It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that the dudes who are arrogant and selfish enough to walk their dogs off the leash in a high people and dog populated area are the same people who wouldn’t pick up their dog’s shit off the ground for the sake of the rest of us.

Sightings of dudes walking their dogs off the leash in our neighborhood have gone down significantly over the last couple weeks. Also, piles of dog shit are no longer appearing everywhere. Correlation? 🤔
