The club can confirm our fixture Vs Southend United has been called off. This is due to an inspection carried out by the ref within the last 30 minutes, deeming the pitch to be unplayable due to a sudden downpoor of rain after 4pm. We will announce the new fixture date and ticket information very soon🔴🔵

❌ Tonight’s Enterprise National League fixture away at Aldershot Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the EBB Stadium. Upon the referee’s arrival at 5:30pm, he quickly decided a pitch inspection was necessary, before determining that the turf was unplayable. A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.

@ScottyBarber91 There wasn’t boo’s in my opinion. Ultimately he offers nothing and did nothing. A very poor player and another reason why, without a goal scorer, we’re getting out of this league any time soon.

The boos at Roots Hall when Hopper came on simply have no place. What an awkward reception for a player, yes he’s underperformed, but there is no place for that. First time, I’ve embarrassed for a player, that was once lorded by our supporters. We’ve sunk to a new low I’m afraid

@SUFCRootsHall Why’s no one talking about Miley. His record when starting is shocking, every game he plays he gives the ball away in horrendous areas. He’d already done it 3 times prior to gifting them the goal. He followed up with some decent tackles and interceptions but not good enough.

@CJPhillips1982 So so so so poor to not start playing until gifting them two goals, especially the first. Miley gave it away just the same three times prior, makes a habit of this every time he starts. Then we started playing well but we need too many chances, they get three and score two.

Shrimpers, thoughts on that first half?
