If USDT fails, it’s not just a stablecoin problem. It’s gonna be a system-wide shock. First, liquidity will disappears. Most trading pairs rely on USDT. If it depegs, markets freeze or become chaotic. Secondly, there will be mass panic. People rush to exit into Bitcoin, USDC, or fiat. Prices swing hard. Trust drops fast. Thirdly, DeFi will starts breaking. Loans, collateral, and liquidity pools using USDT get liquidated. Protocols face stress. Let's say, A trader holding funds in USDT suddenly finds it trading below $1. Their “stable” value isn’t stable anymore. Everything becomes a race to safety. But here’s the reality... Crypto wouldn’t die, it would reset. Liquidity would shift to alternatives. Stronger systems would survive. Weaker ones would get wiped out.
