The parents don’t even speak English. I’m paying for their ELS at school with my property taxes. My school district has 13% ELS. That’s higher than the national average. They get government handouts for their US born children. It’s a 3 bedroom house with 2 families and at least 4 random men living in it. You clearly dont live in an area that has a high illegal immigrant population.

I’m grateful for law enforcement and the Secret Service’s quick action to keep the President, Cabinet, lawmakers, the press, and everyone in attendance tonight at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner safe. While we await more information from law enforcement, one thing is for certain: political violence is never okay — and it has no place in this country.

The town I live in has 1 SEPTA bus. No matter what time of day or night I see it, it has 0-3 people on it. It’s a regular size SEPTA bus. I think the routes should be reevaluated. Living in the city, it was filled with homeless people, urine and 40oz rolling around. I think you should tackle those problems first. Make it safe for users to want to use it. Stop wasting our tax money on routes with few riders. Also why are the top people working at SEPTA, who constantly need a bailout, getting paid up to $436k. That’s our money those people are taking and they suck at their jobs.

Mass transit is a lifeline for people in all 67 counties who rely on it every day to get to where they need to go. It’s why I proposed historic funding for mass transit in my first two budgets. Why I secured $80 million for mass transit in my 2024-25 budget. Why I flexed an additional $153 million in federal funds to keep SEPTA running in 2024. Why I allocated an additional $220 million to help SEPTA make urgently needed maintenance and safety repairs in 2025. And it’s also why I’m staying at the negotiating table, working to bring Democrats and Republicans together until we fund mass transit for the long haul.

As long as I’m your Governor, I’ll keep fighting every day to defend your fundamental freedoms.

In just one year, Donald Trump cut funding for: ❌ Food assistance and SNAP. ❌ Medicaid. ❌ Planned Parenthood. All while raising costs on our farmers, families, and small business owners. My budget sets aside funding so we can be prepared to protect Pennsylvanians from whatever he cuts next.

First of all, I’m not on the right. I’m an independent. Maybe you should be focusing on where your tax dollars actually go, you might be surprised. You keep stating you ppl, I’m not sure what exactly you mean by that. I volunteer at Philabundance and donate items to The Purple Heart Foundation. @marcijo09 @GovernorShapiro When you receive money from the government, yes, it should be restricted. SNAP stands for supplemental nutrition assistance program. What nutrition are people gaining by eating junk food? No one is saying that someone can’t buy it still, but it should come out of your own money.
