His current ETV is €39.3M 😉 Models tend te be quite slow with current performances. I'd say €32M is a pretty good deal for a player like Gimenez but it's not a steal

In early December 2024, I presented player valuation providers in the UEFA Academy MIP seminar organised by @CDESLimoges. One takeaway was that valuation tools have very different estimations (slide below). Yesterday Santiago Gimenez was transferred for 32m€. So, who was right?

Bought 100k€ and (potentially) sold 50m€ 18 months later. The kind of capital gain that every club with a "trading model" is dreaming of.
