It's not a sprint. It's a marathon. As a web developer and solopreneur, I've been at it for 730 days now. No overnight success. No viral story. Just consistent, hard work. And that's exactly what makes the difference. The unsexy truth that nobody wants to hear. 🚀

What nobody tells you about building a business: The timeline you expect? Multiply it by 3. → That product launch? Longer. → Those first customers? Longer. → That skill mastery? Way longer. Patience isn't passive waiting. It's actively fighting your own impatience. 🚀

Your business is a mirror of your private life. You can't play a better version of yourself in business. → If you judge people by their value, customers will feel it → If you're only nice when it "pays off", your mask will eventually fall → Authenticity always wins long-term

We're playing the long-term game. Not the "3-month transformation" game. Not the "overnight success" game. The game where: → Year 1: Foundation → Year 2: Learning → Year 3: Traction Patience wins. 🚀 #Solopreneur #BuildInPublic

"How many times will you try?" My answer: "Until it works." This isn't naivety. It's strategy. Every attempt is an investment in knowledge: → Attempt 1: Customer acquisition → Attempt 2: Product-market fit → Attempt 3: Pricing Each one gets me closer.

My approach for the next 60 months: 1️⃣ Problem first (not solution) 2️⃣ Value as the metric 3️⃣ 5-year horizon (no quick wins) 4️⃣ Learning over earning Q1 2026: New attempt. And the next one. And the next one. Until I build something that creates real value. Keep going. 🚀

Harsh truth for tech founders: The product is rarely the problem. The marketing is. I avoided it for too long and just kept building. New rule: 50/50. Build and market. No more hiding. #BuildInPublic #IndieHacker

After 2 years as a solopreneur, here's what I learned about patience: Everything takes more time than expected: → Build products: Months, not weeks → Win customers: Years, not months → Improve skills: Constant repetition Real business growth? It requires patience.

I'd rather build a new feature than cold message strangers. That's honestly my biggest problem as a founder. Introverted autistic dev + outreach = not a natural match. But it still has to be done. 3h product. 3h marketing. Starting today.

Most people quit after attempt 1 or 2. "Tried it. Didn't work. Not for me." That's the mistake. Entrepreneurship isn't: One try → Success or quit Entrepreneurship is: Systematic testing until you find what works. The difference? Persistence beats talent every time.

Being a tech founder today means you can ship fast. That part's fun. You know what's not fun? Marketing. Cold outreach. Talking to people. But no marketing = no customers. New split: 3h building. 3h marketing. Every day. Let's see what happens.

The worst uncertainty isn't "Will this work?" The worst uncertainty is "What if I hadn't kept going?" That regret would be unbearable. So I keep going. Despite uncertainty. Despite doubts. Despite everything. That's entrepreneurship. Keep going. 🚀

I'm impatient. I'd also like it faster. But the reality is: Patience is the most important skill. If your business isn't really working after 1-3 years: That's normal. You're not the problem. The timeline expectations on social media are the problem. #RealTalk

@maxantonschneid I've found that the longer I endure uncertainty, the bigger the pay off

"How do you handle this uncertainty?" Honest answer? Sometimes I don't. Sometimes it sucks. As a solopreneur, every day is uncertain: → Will the client stay?  → Next project coming?  → Enough money this month?  That's the price of entrepreneurship. Not cash. Uncertainty.

3am thoughts hit different when you're building alone. I launched my newsletter last week - zero subscribers on day one. That voice saying "nobody cares, just quit" was loud. But then I remembered - nobody knows I exist yet. That's not failure, that's just day one. The uncertainty never goes away. You just get better at building while it's screaming in your ear.

3 AM. Wide awake. "Did I make the right choice?" "Will the next project come?" "Should I just get a job again?" Welcome to entrepreneurship. Nobody told me it means waking up to uncertainty every single day. But I keep going anyway. #Solopreneur #Entrepreneurship #RealTalk

Starting a business WITH a family is harder: → Less time → More responsibility → Higher pressure → Less room for risk Impossible? No. Founders who made it: ✓ With 2 kids ✓ With full-time jobs ✓ With limited budgets They didn't look for excuses. They looked for ways.

I miss the security sometimes. The 1st of the month when salary arrived. The clear structure. The predictability. But then I remember WHY I'm doing this: → Make my own decisions → Build my vision → Be FREE And freedom has a price. I'm willing to pay it.

"Your business only needs 3 months!" - The biggest lie on the internet. After 2 years of being self-employed, I can say: Everything takes MUCH more time than expected. → Building SaaS → Winning customers → Improving skills → Building systems Nothing happens overnight.
