If you’ve been watching the streams you’ve seen Ye on the same quest when it comes to production, distribution, marketing He is reinventing how to release music, sacrificing millions in sales to use his art as the vessel for these experiments It all adds up to something simple, coherent and powerful, the message that has kept Ye relevant with young people for 25 years. As Rage Against the Machine put it: Fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me This war will be won peacefully Not one human soul has ever been harmed, never mind killed, because someone listened to a Ye album or watched a Ye interview It has never happened You can’t even say that about Ariana Grande Clearly the fans, the people, are hearing something completely different to tv hosts whose networks are owned by people allergic to criticism When you hear ‘nigga heil Hitler’ you may be hung up on the Hitler bit Or you just think it’s asinine But there’s something funny and weird and beautiful and new about smashing those two alien worlds together and putting an insanely catchy hook underneath it that brings people joy and brings out companionship (Every club in LA had that moment this weekend when no one knew if it was okay…. and then the whole house came down in laughter and catharsis) It’s hard to imagine a more perfect illustration of draining hate symbols of their potency And just imagine what a better world we will live in when every interaction with others is l free of the specter of fake offense taking, slavery, the Holocaust And the psychos who have used those things to censor and hurt others while committing atrocities themselves, from the 2020 riots to genocide in Gaza will be back where they belong - powerless and sad, oy veying in the next room Nowhere in Ye’s body of work do you find hate If you are sincerely concerned about hate start by admitting that everything tried by the global elites hasn’t just failed It has pushed people in the other direction Bullying, censorship, cancel culture, all backfired l What if the answer to hate IS MORE HATE Or at least Letting people think and say and investigate wild and dangerous things? Likewise If you are a Jew in a western country concerned about the rise in anti semitism the people you need to be lecturing are in Tel Aviv Ye is a powerful and influential man but there’s nothing he could do to foment Jew hatred that comes close to Israel’s actions and its sociopathic pleasure in them after the fact Your power to rule us and trap us in a pagan hell of magic spells like nigger and kike is coming to an end A hundred years of freedom is coming
