I want to talk a bit about aka supas. I've been receiving some pretty ridiculous DMs lately. This isn't the first time, but I still feel like I should say something. If you spend time in Nayu's streams, you probably know that I like sending aka supas—a lot. Sometimes regardless of timing or amount. If I catch a stream, I might just drop one or two and leave. I want to make this very clear: for me, aka supas are simply a way to show recognition for the streamer's effort and achievements. Because of my personal situation, I can't attend online or offline events like meet-and-greets, and I'm not very good at making fan art either. So this is the most direct and convenient way for me to express my support. Please don't worry about my finances—I'm fully within my own means. And I'm definitely not trying to "raise the standard" of the stream or compete with anyone. I don't have that kind of power. Everyone has their own way of showing support. I just happen to have the ability to do it this way, and I want the streamer to receive something that matches his effort. Of course, I'd also suggest everyone support within their own comfort zone. Nayu is a very genuine person. No matter what color the supa is, he always responds with the same level of care and appreciation. If you think sending aka supas gets special treatment, that's simply not true. (According to E-chan's calculation, Nayu still owes Sue six aka "chuchu.") The same goes for fan art—regardless of skill level, it's still a sincere effort and a meaningful memory. As for the 15 aka supas during New Year: in Chinese culture, giving red envelopes is a way of sending good wishes for the year ahead. That's what it meant for me. It's also why I like aka supas—they're red, and red symbolizes luck. I've also seen clips where many streamers have fan-organized New Year aka projects. I actually wanted to organize one too—it looks so impressive—but I got busy and completely forgot… And to those who said I'm arrogant, that I look down on other fans, or that I don't interact: honestly, if you can find my Twitter and send me aggressive messages, why not actually read my posts and the replies under them? Isn't my Twitter interesting? I think I'm pretty fun. I'm only saying all this because I believe there's no single "correct" way to support someone. As long as it's sincere, it's valid. If support is supposed to be ranked by money, then you might as well just pay for a 1v1 experience with a host (🤤). At the end of the day, we're all just working people. So please respect both the streamer and the fan community.
