I recently read @PeterAttiaMD's book about longevity.
The take home message?
PRIORITISE EXERCISE
Forget the intricacies of complicated diets.
Get outside and move your body.
Combine cardio and weights.
Oh, and get some rest.
Simple.

@KevinSzabo14 Nice Kevin, great way to start the day.
How long do you usually run for each day?

@maximise101 This is why I love running in the mornings, reminds me how great life is

@AidanLaBreche Nice, never heard of it, my first thought was the biscuits haha.
Looks awesome though after a quick search.

@fifthnefilim 100%.
Multi-tasking is an absolute killer.
Leads to an immediate reduction in focus and attention to detail
If you can't single task you need to delegate, push back deadlines and prioritise effectively.

@BryanSearson_ Prioritising and avoiding 'busy work' is crucial.
I fall into a trap frequently where I'm working, but really I'm putting off the most important task.
English

@TimeTravelMonk Very true.
A break often leads to you being re-focussed on your journey.

@manuel_kisilak I sit about 7 hour or so in total.
The key for me was setting up a work station that is good for my posture.
Oh, and getting up as regularly as possible.

Day [13/20] Comfort = discomfort?
Modern life is ironic:
On one hand, it’s more convenient than ever.
You can work from your computer.
You can order food, without leaving your house.
You don’t have to worry about dangerous animals or shelter.
The average person today has more comfort than a king had 1000 years ago:
But the same comfort creates hardships, caused by our sedentary lifestyle:
A 2012 study found that adults spend 7-9 hours sitting - daily!
And you know it’s bad when your back aches and your neck tightens up after working at your desk for hours non stop.
People say “sitting is the new smoking” - and I agree.
I started to feel the effects of prolonged sitting when I was 15 years old:
Back pain, poor posture and a tight neck were just some of the nasty consequences I've felt.
And it took me a long time to fix it.
How?
Strength training!
Squats, Deadlifts, Presses and Rows are the best “anti-sitting” exercises out there:
They improve your posture
They make you more mobile
They strengthen the same muscle that decay while sitting
It’s ironic (and sad at the same time) that many people still believe that those are “dangerous”.
In reality, sitting has hurt my back more than any deadlift I’ve ever done - even the ones that weren’t so pretty.
To enjoy comfort, you need deliberate discomfort.
And always remember:
The most dangerous exercise in the world is to not exercise at all.
How long do you sit per day?

@Ace_designer1 Moving on for sure. Though I do think moving on and letting go are one and the same.
